Elevated lo-fi euphony in support of evocative, theatrical narrative.
Tepid Spring (like a hot spring, but cooler) is an alternative art rock band from Edmonton, Alberta on Treaty 6 Territory. The band snowballed from frontperson alexa bender's singer-songwriter project into a CASUAL ensemble in late 2023, and has since seen the influence of many talented collaborators- including morris nguyen's ("morrismorris") lush electronic stylings on the song ‘false start,’ and jonathan webster's ("oceans under stars," “striker”) intricate percussion underlining the last three singles.
Tepid spring is currently rocking with alexa on vox and guitar, GREG TURNER ("Teacup romance," "wayfinder") ON BASS, and RORY TURNER ON KEYS. the act aims to grace intimate venues with immersive, engaging live music experiences adapted to suit each show THROUGH FLUID USE OF COSTUMING & ARRANGEMENT.
